3Com Corp reported revenues up more than 40% yesterday and said sales of its network adapters product line increased 52% to $283m compared with the same period last year. The Santa Clara, California firm reported first quarter net profits up 62.2% at $93.1m on revenue up 42.2% at $707.0%. Net earnings per share rose 57.6% to $0.52. 3Com’s switches, hubs and internetworking platforms products sales increased 38% to $416.4m.
