With $100m already invested there, 3Com Corp plans invest a further $300m in Israel by 1999, with a fair bit of the money going to acquire Israeli networking equioment compaies, TechWire reports. The company also plans to expand its existing Israeli production and research facilities, and to open a third research facility, in Haifa.
