Santa Clara-based 3Com Corp has announced LinkConverter II, the next generation of its LinkConverter line of legacy converters. The new converter connects SNA-SDLC, bisync, async, Alarms and QLLC by providing a local network connection for legacy devices. The offering comes in four different models – two and four access ports for both Token Ring and Ethernet environments. The products are shipping now, at prices going from $3,900 to $5,100.
