Santa Clara, California-based 3Com Corp has introduced two ISDN access routers targeted at the small office-home office market. Designed and developed by its Remote Access Products division – formerly Sonix Communications Ltd (CI No 2,630). AccessBuilder Internet 400 and the Access- Builder Remote User 400 are tout-ed as sim-ple solutions for routed connection to the Internet or corporate local networks. The products ship now with the Internet router costing around $970 and the remote user version at around $1100. Also, previous Sonix products – Arpeggio Lite, Arpeggio Plus and Arpeggio Plus Primo – will now be known as AccessBuilder 500, 600 and 700 respectively.
