3Com Corp, Santa Clara has announced support for Novell Inc’s NetWare 386 by its 3Server family of dedicated network servers as an alternative to its own 3+Open LAN Manager network operating system; the company also announced that an 80486 option for its 80386-based 3Server/500 is available – the 486/33 Option add-in board is $6,000 until December 31 and $6,900 thereafter, and a finished 80486-based 3Server/600 will be $24,250.
