3Com Corp, Santa Clara is buying again, this time picking up its ISDN development partner, AccessWorks Communications Inc, Holmdel, New Jersey. AccessWorks supplies with a family of ISDN digital transmission products under the QuickAccess brand name, which provides users high-speed access to the Internet, on-line information services and private corporate networks. The acquisition, for an undisclosed amount, builds on the investment 3Com made in AccessWorks last year. The company is not to be confused with the Digital Equipment Corp product of the same name.
