Shares in 3Com Corp and US Robotics Corp have soared this week following analysts’ predictions of a fast growth in networking companies. 3Com is expected to meet its year end fiscal results after PaineWebber Inc said pricing pressures had stabilized and it was optimistic 3Com could withstand competitive pressure.
