3Com Corp and Compagnie des Machines Bull SA have jointly announced the availability of Transcend software for the management of 3Com products on Bull’s ISM3 Integrated System Management Platform: 3Com’s Transcend is designed to simplify the administration of its hubs, routers and boards and is also said to enable the systems controller to organise equipment into virtual groups; no word yet on pricing.
