3Com Corp has a number of additions to its OfficeConnect small office remote access range. The new OfficeConnect Remote Access Server 1000 enables users to install a mix of analog and/or high- speed ISDN technologies for dial-in and dial-out communications and will start shipping in early May at $1,200. The new 11x NETBuilder router supports multiple wide area networking services from 9.6Kbps to T1/E1 speeds, enabling users universal access and control of corporate resources. The company has started shipping the OfficeConnect NETBuilder 14x with integrated NT1 and the 12x with integrated 56/64Kbps Channel Service Unit/Digital Service Unit. The OfficeConnect NETBuilder 11x router will start shipping in May at $900. The OfficeConnect Hub TP16C is an unmanaged 16- port 10BaseT hub available now in a range of densities 4-, 8- and 16-port, from $255. Meanwhile, previously announced OfficeConnect NETBuilder 14x with integrated NT1 and 12x with integrated 56/64Kbps Channel Service Unit/Digital Service Unit are shipping.
