Chicago, Illinois-based 360 Communications Co signed a letter of intent to acquire Independent Cellular Network Inc’s cellular operations, which are owned by the Crown family of Chicago and associates. 360 said it would acquire Independent Cellular’s interests in 20 markets, representing 3.2m potential customers in Pennsylvania, Ohio, Kentucky and West Virginia by assuming $362m of debt and paying 6.5m new 360 Communications shares.
