The 3.0 release of Microsoft Corp’s increasingly popular Windows program – which has caused many users to decided they really don’t need OS/2 and Presentation Manager after all – will ship in mid-April, the Newsbytes newswire believes: it expects number of third party developers to announce compatible applications, although Microsoft has said that all well-behaved Windows 2 programs will work with the new version; the new version will auto-sense which Intel chip is being used and will boot accordingly.
