30% OF SPREADSHEETS CONTAIN ERRORS SAYS REPORT

A report in the New scientist suggests human error applied when corporate spreadsheets are filled in, could be resulting in millions of pounds vanishing into financial black holes. A study carried out at the University of Hawaii, Honolulu found that on average 30% of spreadsheets contain errors, meaning that potentially millions of pounds are vanishing evey year.
