Lotus Development Corp’s 1-2-3 Release 5 for Windows will ship in North America in the 1994 third quater for $500: upgrades from other versions of 1-2-3 and from qualifying competitive spreadsheets will be available at $130; the new version enhances individual productivity and that of groups working together using Notes, cc:Mail, or other electronic mail systems; it has enhanced database capabilities, through integration with Lotus Approach, to enable users to create forms, reports, crosstabs and mailing labels directly from 1-2-3.
