34% of the Swedish population surf the Net at least once a month, according to a private Swedish research and polling institute. 13% – just over a million people – are on-line daily. Swedish netizens are made up of 41% of the male population and 27% of the women, the organization said. Its figures are based on 4,000 interviews conducted by phone in February.
