128-PROCESSOR PARALLEL SYSTEM DEVELOPED BY TSUKUBA ELECTRO-TECHNICAL LABORATORY

Japanese researchers at the Tsukuba Electro-technical Laboratory of the state-funded Industrial Science & Technology say they have developed a 128-processor parallel system that approaches the power of a supercomputer – but it ain’t using the Transputer as far as we know, says Thorn’s Inmos International.
