The acquisition will extend Cisco’s local network switch and Fast Ethernet oferings for its CiscoPro product family to address desktop switching, the high-speed alternative for 10Base-T hub users. Grand Junction founded in 1992, employs 85 staff, most of them at its Fremont headquarters.
