Software security firm Vasco Data Security International has launched Digipass as a Service platform on salesforce.com’s AppExchange, aimed at the business-to-employee (B2E) segment.
The salesforce.com social enterprise platform delivers cloud technologies for social, mobile and open apps.
The social enterprise platform includes Force.com, the cloud platform for employee apps, Heroku, the cloud platform for customer apps and Database.com, the cloud database to integrate the social enterprise.
Digipass as a Service is a cloud-based authentication offering for cloud computing and web-based applications, giving enterprises user authentication they need to protect business-critical information.
Vasco Data Security president and COO Jan Valcke said Digipass as a Service is an efficient and very flexible solution allowing application providers to focus on their core business while at the same time boosting customers’ confidence in their services thanks to enhanced security.
