SAP has made available software that aims at transportation management, banking and warehouse management.
The combination of transportation management and warehouse management applications are designed to strengthen the integration between logistics processes, this allows for faster logistics and order fulfillment, the company says.
SAP TM 9.3 offers end-to-end logistics process support along with orchestration, tracking and settlement of the physical movement of goods and has been extended to support the transit warehouse scenario.
The company’s Extended Warehouse Management application is designed to allow logistics companies to manage the movement of goods from origin, to consolidation points to destination.
The application has been enhanced to include billing warehouse services for logistics service providers and shippers who contract warehouse services.
The banking update takes Banking Services to version 9.0, with this version SAP has focused more on helping banks to digitise core business functions and to unify transaction and analytical processes onto one platform.
Users will be able to join data streams, conduct real-time analysis and to create products that are tailored to customer needs.
With all three updates the company has stressed greater integration between services on the HANA platform.
