Radiant Systems has launched Aloha Configuration Centre, a configuration platform which will enable multi-store restaurant operators to manage, schedule and distribute data across all their units.
According to Radiant, the new product is an above-store point-of-sale management system, built on Microsoft .NET platform that will give operators remote administration through an easy-to-learn user interface.
The company added that by combining the ability to manage multiple sites through multiple applications, the new offering allows for site system changes that are made through an automatic data distribution method. In addition, an offline mode allows users to make modifications without persistent site connectivity, which update when the connection is restored.
Paul Langenbahn, president of hospitality division at Radiant Systems, said: “Aloha Configuration Center will allow restaurant administrators to quickly deploy configurations across the board, saving them both time and money.”
Reportedly, Aloha Configuration Center has already been implemented in more than 2,000 quick service and table service restaurant sites, including Smokey Bones and two major Burger King franchisees, Heartland Food Group and Strategic Restaurants Acquisition Company.
Shane Sanford, IT manager of Back Yard Burgers, said: “The software integrated seamlessly with our existing Aloha POS and has quickly relieved the burden of making system changes at each individual site.”
