Quest Software has unveiled Quest Management Suite for DB2 LUW, a new offering for managing DB2 Linux, Unix and Windows environments.

The company claims that the new offering allows DB2 database administrators (DBAs) to achieve complete control of their organisations distributed DB2 platforms from one single, integrated toolset.

The company said that the Quest Management Suite for DB2 LUW allows users to gain a complete workbench that addresses the critical aspects of DB2 management across all three platforms. All tasks, including database administration, SQL tuning, space management, SQL analysis, and trending and performance diagnostics are addressed within the offering’s management console.
