Pervasive Software, a provider of data integration and data management software, has launched Pervasive Data Integrator on its DataCloud 2, extending its technology in delivering agility, connectivity for data and application integration.
The company said that the combination of its Data Integrator’s connectivity and the DataCloud platform allows customers and partners to configure and deliver Integration-as-a-Service offerings that cuts traditional integration costs. As Data Integrator executes on compnay’s DataCloud 2, it helps users to choose where integration takes place on the cloud, on-premises or a combination of the two.
According to Pervasive, the DataCloud 2 is a Data Web Services (DWS) platform that enables integrations to run on the Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2) enhancing Amazon Web Services (AWS).
Mike Hoskins, CTO and general manager of integration products at Pervasive, said: “We have been connecting to the cloud longer than many integration companies have been around and we have more than a thousand SaaS customers that have gone into production.
“As we continue to expand and strengthen the breadth of our offerings, our customers can now utilise integration that can be easily developed and deployed in the cloud or on-premises, enabling them to initiate a move to the cloud or leverage new cloud applications and sources.”
