Passlogix has signed contracts in Israel for its v-GO Access Accelerator Suite, a set of sign-on, authentication and provisioning enablement offerings anchored by the enterprise single sign-on (ESSO) offering.

The contracts were secured through a new Passlogix distribution partnership with Wise Solutions, an Israeli-based technology consultancy specialising in infrastructure, security and compliance products, and through Wise’s partner One1, an Israeli IT company. v-GO complements Wise’s portfolio of IT products and services for large enterprises in the financial, telecommunications and government sectors, the company said.

The company claims that the v-GO Access Accelerator Suite helps organisations eliminate sign-on, authentication and provisioning challenges in order to improve business productivity, strengthen information security and regulatory compliance readiness, and streamline identity management deployments.

The v-GO Single Sign-On enables users to access any windows, mainframe or web application with a single windows logon by automating username and password entry for each account. Single sign-on can also be extended to remote, mobile and temporary users with v-GO on demand, providing secure application access to off-site employees and affiliates such as third-party partners or contractors, the company said.

According to Passlogix, the v-GO offering automates user sign-on and sign-off of kiosk sessions; securely manage shared passwords for administrators and others who must share account IDs; enable authentication to applications, desktops and networks without custom integration; pre-load user IDs and passwords to the v-GO repository for provisioning; and automate resets of windows logon passwords.

In addition, the platform also enables wizard-based integration that eliminates the need to write scripts or connectors even to homegrown or legacy applications and installs on existing servers without adding hardware.

Sean Harris, VP of business development at Passlogix, said: “We have been looking for a partner in Israel for some time. Wise has both the market focus and the consulting, implementation and support services to help us reach the enterprises that need our products, and their own partnership with One1 gives us access to some of the country’s largest enterprises. This promises to be a productive partnership on both sides.”
