Orange has announced the availability of the HTC Touch Pro2 for the business customers. The HTC Touch Pro2 is an upgrade of the currently available HTC Touch Pro.
According to the company, business users can use its Straight Talk feature to switch from an email account to single or multi-party voice calls by pressing the image icon of the email sender. For those on the move, the new offering transforms into a speaker phone with a noise-cancelling microphone and speakers, by placing it face down on a surface.
François Mahieu, director of devices at Orange, said: “The HTC Touch Pro2 is packed with features to make everyday business tasks a great deal easier and is the ideal mobile companion for the busy business user.”
The new offering allows organising, hosting and participating in conference calls. The appointment reminder tool reportedly cues up dial-in details and the call agenda. With a tap of the screen, it is claimed that, the users can join the call. Further taps to the screen enable users to confer privately with a single person and then return to the conference call, if needed.
It features TouchFLO 3D interface based on Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional, which allows users to synchronise all Microsoft Outlook email, contacts and calendar information with their phone.
The device comes with a 3.6-inch touch screen and a QWERTY keyboard with screen tilt feature.
