NaviSite, a provider of application management and managed cloud services, has said that its CEO Arthur Becker has stepped down and will be replaced by the company’s president Brooks Borcherding.
NaviSite said that Borcherding will continue to serve as NaviSite’s president along with his new role, while Becker will remain a member of the company’s board of directors.
Borcherding joined NaviSite as senior vice president of sales and chief revenue officer in April, 2009 and has served as NaviSite’s president since March, 2010.
Prior to joining NaviSite, Borcherding served as the strategy, planning and operations director of Cisco Systems from 2005 until April 2009.
From 1997 to 2005, he served as the global solutions director of Avaya.
Becker said that he looks forward to a new pace of organic growth in enterprise hosting and cloud services under Brooks’ leadership, with the company’s divestitures of non-strategic assets and deleveraging of balance sheet during this past year.
