Nastel Technologies, a provider of business transaction performance (BTP) products for mission-critical applications spanning both the distributed and mainframe tiers, has signed a partnership with Paraphora. Paraphora will use Nastel AutoPilot M6 and AutoPilot TransactionWorks to deliver light-weight, remote monitoring and management for their customer’s business applications.

The company said that the capability to provide monitoring and management for business application performance as a service will help many firms who do not wish to invest upfront in purchasing their own management product.

Asit Shah, founder & CEO of Paraphora, said: In partnership with Nastel we now have an innovative tool for transaction monitoring with a wide breadth of platform support and Nastel’s built in complex event processing engine which enables predictive problem determination.

The company’s AutoPilot M6 Suite, featuring the newest addition to the product family – AutoPilot TransactionWorks – reportedly offers mechanism for managing the performance of business transactions and composite applications. AutoPilot M6 is said to offer users a view of their entire IT environment to assure the timely completion of their business critical transactions.

Whether the environment is a Service Oriented Architecture (SOA), a traditional integrated infrastructure, or a mix of both, AutoPilot M6 and its Complex Event Processing (CEP) engine enable users to find and fix problems and prevent them before they can impact the business, the company claimed.
