McAfee has extended its agent-less malware detection capabilities in Vulnerability Manager offering to include a weekly top 50 new malware and top 100 most detected malware content feed.
The company said that the agent-less malware detection enhances the traditional anti-virus technology by providing an additional layer of visibility into assets at risk within the network to detect assets already infected or those that may not have been fully remediated.
Powered by global threat intelligence from McAfee, the Vulnerability Manager offering receives weekly updates that contain the week’s top 50 new malware and top 100 most detected malware content packages.
McAfee said that the dynamic content capability assures that customers can scan for the most impactful malware within their network as part of their ongoing vulnerability assessment workflow.
