The IT infrastructure and managed services specialist, ANS Group, has signed a new deal with Manchester based M247 to support its long-term growth plans.
The data centre deal, worth in excess of £1million, will see M247, an internet infrastructure and ICT company, provide secure data centre accommodation and high capacity network services to ANS.
ANS will take a biometrically-secured colocation ‘cage’ within M247’s newest Trafford Park data centre as well as a range of high-capacity optical connectivity services to interconnect with the existing ANS Cloud backbone.
M247 operates two of the most energy-efficient data centres in Europe, allowing ANS to reduce the carbon-footprint of their hosted services.
Managed services director of ANS, Paul Shannon, commented on the deal: "Our decision to utilise M247’s data centre offering was supported by the continued growth of ANS and our commitment to giving the best service to our customers. M247 demonstrated that it was more than capable of delivering a high quality, energy efficient service with high capacity connectivity, in line with the robust solution we offer."
