IBM has signed a services deal with Sun Direct TV (SDTV), a unit of India-based Sun TV Group, to implement and manage Customer Relationship Management (CRM) related applications and services for the unit. The multi-year deal includes end-to-end services, from strategy through implementation.

IBM said that it will build and maintain a infrastructure for SDTV that will leverage IBM Global Business Service’s experience in the DTH market. In addition to providing SDTV with application management services, it will enable SDTV to expand its billing portfolio enabling them to handle customer acquisition across India.

In addition, the deal also includes IBM hardware and software including power systems, System x and storage systems.
