CoreMedia, a Web content management (WCM) company, and Internet Broadcasting (IB), a provider of local Web sites, content and advertising revenue solutions, have introduced the CMS platform to the North American market.
IB will use CoreMedia’s WCM platform to provide its customers with the new Web publishing technology, leveraging CoreMedia’s capabilities such as multi-site management, content delivery, customisable editorial interfaces with in-context WYSIWYG editing, integrated Web analytics and external application integration.
CoreMedia said that its contextualisation technology increases user engagement and the effectiveness of targeted marketing and advertising campaigns, resulting in improved conversion rates.
IB will install CoreMedia’s CMS platform in a cloud environment, where it will become the foundation for IB’s SaaS publishing platform, ibPublish; and it will also build enhancements and extensions to the CoreMedia platform.
Internet Broadcasting COO Jeff Kimball said, the company can now serve all those needs better than ever – not only for TV stations, but for newspapers, radio stations, magazines and multi-media conglomerates.
