Freshcode, a Macintosh publisher and developer, has launched Bodega 1.3, an update to its Mac software discovery and download application.
The Bodega 1.3 update addresses various bugs and other reported issues, as well as provides across-the feature and performance improvements.
The new Freshcode Bodega for the Mac provides access to the new apps for the Macintosh directly from the Mac desktop.
Bodega enables users with the process of Macintosh application discovery; version update maintenance for nearly all applications installed on a user’s hard drive.
It also enables application downloading, installation, and purchasing; all from a interface that integrates seamlessly into the user’s workflow.
The new Bodega Mac products features no API usage restrictions within applications, no vetting or approval process for applications submitted to Bodega, no developer program costs or charges, access to sales and user information for each product sale occurring through Bodega, said the company.
It also features access to a advertising, marketing, and co-marketing programs designed to increase product sales, as well as enable developers build brand and product awareness.
No restrictions on how developers issue product upgrades or updates, developers need not have specialised versions of their applications, no risk of cannibalizing sales of those products in the rest of the sales channel.
Freshcode CEO Christian Dandeneau said Bodega provides Mac developers who can reach a 100% active and qualified user base and use Bodega to market and sell their products.
