Fairsail, a provider of single suite HR systems, has launched Polaris, the latest generation of its Human Resources (HR) management suite designed to tackle the challenges of modern fast-growing global companies.

Polaris features advanced HR analytics to help HR professionals deal with the highly-individualised needs of international organisations. This allows users to access in depth metrics, designed for three types of HR software user: employees, managers, and the boardroom.

According to recent research by Gartner, the past decade has seen a dramatic growth in the number of small multinational businesses operating under differing regulatory regimes at the same time as experiencing rapid growth. The companies are apparently poorly served by HRMS technology as they are unable to afford the global solutions deployed by larger organisations and let down by local solutions, which often lack multi-county capabilities. Fairsail has been focused on addressing the needs of this market with its Global Workforce Collaboration software, something which continues with the new functionality in Polaris.

New Vacation and Absence Accrual features will help managers to handle the complex administration of holiday policies. Users can now automate holiday management by linking directly employment records, customise absence parameters, tailor absence rules by country or region, access detailed information on absence using the ‘Absence Calculator button, and set specific options for parental leave.

The Template Generator allows users to create templates and reports within Fairsail modules enabling speedy, on-brand reporting. They can create PDFs of HR records with one click, use automated content creation from the Fairsail records which saves lengthy admin processes, and use template cloning to customise documents.

Nic Scott, CEO, Fairsail, said: "The launch of Polaris caps off what has an extremely busy and successful year for Fairsail. We have always strived to provide the scalable and wide-ranging HR software required by today’s global organisations. The addition of Absence Accrual and Template Generator highlights our commitment to constantly improve and learn from our customers."
