Entensys, a software provider for information security and internet access programs, has added Commtouch’s Anti-Spam and Zero-Hour Virus Outbreak Protection to its UserGate Mail Server.
The UserGate Mail Server provides small and medium sized companies with secure mail services and the program works with all Windows mail clients and has remotely available administration capability.
The companies said that the UserGate’s anti-spam module uses Commtouch’s engine, which is based on Commtouch’s Recurrent Pattern Detection technology, which detects and blocks spam in real-time, ensuring email servers remain free to support business email operations.
Dmitry Kurashev, CEO of Entensys, said: Before releasing our UserGate Mail Server, we analyzed several leading anti-spam solutions. Commtouch proved to be the best solution because of its high quality of spam detection, its use of cutting-edge technologies and its stellar reputation among its existing users.
“Within the UserGate Mail Server management system, Commtouch settings are easily tunable, based on the kind of mail a business receives. This provides a significant advantage over rule-based anti-spam solutions.
