Dell has introduced a new smartphone Venue Pro, a vertical QWERTY Windows Phone 7 that the company says gives professionals, families, students and gamers more options to stay connected, and access the content and applications.
The smartphone features portrait layout QWERTY keypad, Xbox LIVE and pre-loaded work/life applications, and 4.1-inch AMOLED touch display featuring rugged Gorilla Glass.
The phone also features Windows Phone 7 Live Tiles that keep priorities in focus, and a single-button access for apps like Bing for search, Xbox LIVE for games, and Zune for music and video.
Dell vice president and general manager of consumer sales and marketing Michael Tatelman said no matter how one slides it, the Dell Venue Pro with Windows Phone 7 brings a fresh new approach of doing more with less.
The phone is equipped with a 5-megapixel auto-focus camera, high-speed wireless, and cloud-based services that the company says enables users to keep in touch, share experiences and enjoy music and movies.
The Venue Pro is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon offering with integrated 1GHz processor, and supports UMTS, GSM/EDGE, HSDPA and HSUPA.
