BroadVision and Celebros have entered into a strategic partnership to deliver enhanced site-search and incentive offering to the e-commerce market.

According to the companies, their offerings will enable e-tailers to improve online sales by delivering context-aware merchandising incentives at the search results page.

The company said that the Celebros’ Salesperson conceptual site search allows visitors to see various pricing incentives along with search results. In addition, BroadVision’s eMerchandising Uplift (eMU) product provides context-aware incentives and dynamic bundling to propel shoppers to increase purchases.

The new offerings are also claimed to shorten the time and distance (clicks) between browsing and buying, decreasing cart abandonment rate, and increasing the final transaction value for customers and merchants alike.

Itai Bass, VP of business development at Celebros, said: “This partnership represents a best of breed components that make the BroadVision and Celebros solutions exceptionally valuable to the e-tailer. Shoppers using search convert 3-10 times more compared to those that only browse. By adding eMU with the search, the merchant can link incentives to shopper’s interest. Which means selling more!”
