Bridgeline Software, a developer of SaaS-based web application management software and interactive technology offerings, has reported revenue of $23.9m for the fiscal year 2009, an increase of 12% compared to $21.3m for the same period last year. Software subscription and perpetual licenses revenue rose by 63% to 1.4m.

For the fiscal year ended September 30, 2009, the company posted a gross profit of $13.4m, an increase of 22% compared to $10.9m for the same period last year. Operating income was $8,29,000 compared to operating loss of $10.3m.

The company posted a net income of $758000 for the fiscal 2009, compared to net loss of $10.3m for the same period last year. Basic earnings per share was $0.07 compared to loss per share of $1.09 last year.
