According to BancTec, the worldwide agreement between the company and Captaris includes both the classic and professional editions of DOKuStar, and extends to the integration of the design studio components and runtime engines into the core CenterVision system. Captaris will support the deployment of its technology for both solution sales and BPO agreements, and will enable BancTec to provide a global service on a standard platform.

BancTec claims that the CenterVision platform helps converge departmental capture applications and complex mailroom centers onto a common platform. With its capture interface, management dashboard, and automated processing and distribution capabilities, the CenterVision platform helps organizations speed up the delivery of business-critical information, streamline document processes, and adapt to changing business requirements.
