Budget airline group Flybe has selected Maxymiser’s customer experience optimisation software, which it hopes will support its digital channels and improve user experience.
The first operation is already underway, which aims to drive sales and improve customer’s shopping experience across Flybe’s desktop and mobile websites.
Kevin Bond, head of digital platforms at Flybe, said: "We know that if we want to keep growing, and drive up penetration for the company, we need to understand our customers’ changing needs. And optimisation, especially using Maxymiser, is the best way to find out."
The UK-based company, which has over 180 routes to 65 European countries, said it is using Maxymiser’s Visual Content Builder (VCB).
"Being able to conduct some of the less advanced campaigns ourselves will allow Maxymiser to concentrate on the bigger, more sophisticated campaigns – driving commercial value whilst using the insights we are getting from the optimisation campaigns to inform business strategy," said Bond
He added: "We want to help customers get through to a relevant flight view. At the moment, everybody goes through to a specific date view – but we want to explore whether offering a full calendar view, and showing people the broader picture, provides more choice and increases conversion.
