Accenture has acquired London based Salesforce consulting services provider Tquila UK to boost its Salesforce services and cloud implementations.

Accenture has its own Salesforce implementation services, which provides enterprise solutions, based upon Salesforce and has six Fullforce Master designations.

Tquila UK on the other hand, specialises in delivering cloud solutions powered by the Salesforce1 Platform, which helps developers build apps in a faster manner with open APIs, back-end services, and integration tools.

The company presently delivers a wide range of services including strategy, consulting, implementation and integration along with custom application development, governance and support.

With the acquisition, Tquila will be added to Accenture’s Emerging Platforms business, which is a part of Accenture Technology.

As part of the acquisition, Tquila’s 100 Salesforce staff will join Accenture’s Salesforce team, helping the company become one of the largest with Salesforce capabilities in the UK.

Accenture Technology UK managing director Emma McGuigan said: "We have seen significant growth in SaaS as more companies adopt the cloud and digital strategies to collaborate better, drive greater operational efficiencies and accelerate the development of new products and services.

"One key factor for our continued success in delivering Salesforce solutions depends on having the right skilled professionals to meet the growing demand.

"With Tquila on board we have the critical mass to more proactively target big opportunities both in the UK and Europe, which will extend our position in the region."
