Operators can deploy Veraz’s I-Gate 4000 EDGE SIP GW to provision new service offerings for business customers. The I-Gate 4000 EDGE SIP GW enables enterprises to interconnect their existing PBXs to remote offices, teleworkers, and local and long-distance PSTN services over IP, lowering their voice calling costs, said Veraz Networks.

The I-Gate 4000 EDGE SIP GW can be scaled to provide an optimal solution from single PBX sites to multi-tenant buildings and industrial parks with multiple customers’ PBXs.

Eyal Hilzenrat, vice president of the bandwidth optimization business unit at Veraz Networks, said: Gateways make sense for both operators and enterprise customers because they offer a migration path to IP networking without the need to forklift existing infrastructure. The I-Gate 4000 EDGE SIP GW enables operators to offer reliable, low-cost interconnection services with ease of deployment and minimal CAPEX and OPEX.

Veraz provides application, control, and bandwidth optimisation products that enable the evolution to the Multimedia Generation Network (MGN). The Veraz MGN separates the control, media, and application layers while unifying management of the network.

Veraz MGN portfolio helps service providers to extend their current application suite to add customised multimedia services. The portfolio includes the ControlSwitch, Network-adaptive Border Controller, I-Gate 4000 Media Gateways, the VerazView Management System, and a set of prepackaged applications.
