Mobile focused browser Opera Mini is going beyond mobile devices and into the new Tizen- based smartwatch Samsung Gear S.
Opera claims that the browser is touch friendly and includes website shortcuts that look like large buttons, to facilitate one touch access to websites.
With double tap, users can zoom into the content, and swipe to go forward and backward.
Opera has added Smart Page feature to the browser, which displays links based on frequently visited sites.
For easy access to news feeds, users can add social-media networks to the Smart Page, and save web pages for offline reading.
The company claims that the browser uses data-saving technology to ensure uninterrupted browsing even when the internet connection is slow.
Samsung launched the Gear S in August. Powered by Dual core 1.0 GHz chipset, it has 4GB internal memory.
The watch features two inch curved Super AMOLED display and allows users to make and receive calls even when the device is not in close contact with the phone.
Gear S will run on Opera Mini version 7.5, and owners will be able to download the browser from Samsung Gear Apps for free.
