Google has introduced a new prepaid debit card that allows users to buy goods and withdraw cash from ATMs, which will then be debited from funds in their Google Wallet accounts, an online payment and money transfer system.

Users need to use the same pin code that they already use with respective Google Wallet account to access the available balance in the card.

Currently being offered in the US, for free with no monthly or annual fees, the new Wallet card can be used at ‘millions of locations’ that accept MasterCard and at ATMs.

Data about transactions via the new card would be added to the internal profiles maintained by the search major for users of its services to target ads.

Users can add money to the new Wallet Card by linking it to a bank account or when another individual transfers funds to their Wallet account.

The Wallet Balance can be used not only to spend it via Google Wallet Card, it can also be used to transfer money to friends, buy on Google Play, YouTube and other products, tap and pay in stores, or transfer money to own bank account.
