Mozilla has released the latest version of its web browser, Firefox 20, with new privacy enhancements and tools for developers.
The new version comes with an option to open a new window for an internet session in per-tab private browsing, during which no site or page specific data will be saved.
According to the company, the privacy enhancements would allow the user to open a private window without closing the other browsing session and can be used to access multiple email accounts simultaneously.
Firefox 20 includes tools like handy toolbox, additional unlocked HTML5 features, and comes with support for getUserMedia that allows developers to write code to access users’ cameras and microphones.
The update comes with support for Android devices running on less-powerful ARMv6 processors that includes Samsung Galaxy Next, HTC Aria, HTC Legend, Samsung Dart, Samsung Galaxy Pop and the Samsung Galaxy Q.
A new Download Manager in the Firefox toolbar is also include in the update that allows users to monitor, view and locate downloaded files without changing the window.
The company said in its blog that the Firefox for Android allows users to customise the shortcuts on the home screen with favourite or most frequently visited sites.
