Scabal has selected Interoute’s cloud services platform in a move that should enable the clothing manufacturer to share files between departments more effectively.

Interoute’s hosting platform is integrated into its pan-European network, helping Scabal deliver cloud-based telephony, video communication, system integration and centralisation of the company’s internal helpdesk.

Other features of the solution include antivirus monitoring, full back up and storage to improve security of corporate and customer data.

Scabal said the solution will help its design and marketing team to share data-heavy files and collaborate quickly with other parts of the business.
.
Filip Grymonprez, CFO at Scabal, said: "We needed greater flexibility in the data centre in order to meet our storage needs today and in the future and Interoute stood out immediately as capable of helping us achieve these goals."

Jose Largo, IT director of Scabal, said: "Interoute’s integrated cloud solution gives us the ability to host a range of technology services and to unify our communications – from VoIP and video conferencing to expanding our corporate WAN. Interoute’s solution helps us optimise our total cost of ownership.

Mark Lewis, VP of Communication and Connectivity Product Solutions for Interoute, said: "Moving to Interoute’s high-performance cloud platform means Scabal’s design, procurement, marketing and other departments can share the rich images, video and data they need to do their job, quickly and securely."
