IT applications and services provider Indra has deployed BMC Software’s cloud management software to build a private cloud platform that provides an integrated application for simplifying cloud adoption.
The BMC Software claims the cloud management platform offers the suitable applications for Indra’s operational and financial needs.
Indra Cloud Strategy director Myriam Blazquez said: "We chose BMC Software because it has the best cloud management, orchestration and automation tools available in the market today."
With BMC’s private cloud platform, Indra has optimised its hardware and software resources at 100%, decreased the human error percentage and achieved 90% savings in provisioning of new services.
The IT applications and services provider has also achieved 30-40% savings on backend, especially in areas of compliance or legal enforcement of security policies.
The private cloud platform is expected to reduce provisioning and improving time to market.
As the company requires a flexible economic model to accompany the consumption of resources based on the business needs of its clients, while providing security guarantees, the platform could meet those needs.
Indra outsourcing department manager Jose Angel Osma said: "All of these benefits meant that we could experience faster time-to-market – from months to a matter of days."
