Accenture has updated its SAP solutions with new capabilities that should help users deploy SAP Fiori apps more efficiently.

The new capabilities allows users with SAP Fiori apps to approve timesheets and track purchase orders on smart devices and desktops without having to learn new skills, such as SAP Fiori Basis, SAP U15 and SAP Gateway technologies.

Accenture, which recently joined hands with SAP to provide end-to-end applications for clients, said it also builds other mobile apps specific to businesses that compliments SAP Fiori apps.

Christophe Mouille, global managing director of SAP business at Accenture, said the new approach would enable clients to work more efficiently with SAP software.

"We’re committed to help clients benefit from SAP’s efforts to enhance the end-user experience and build strong skills in SAP Fiori, as well as in the latest SAP user interface and SAP Screen Personas software, which are pivotal parts of SAP’s user experience strategy."

Accenture, which has 275,000 people serving clients in more than 120 countries, is also working with other vendors to build an end-to-end e-commerce solution for HarperCollins Publishers e-books.
