Video games want to get you moving

Blue Goji is a new fitness game from the makers of Guitar Hero.

Blue Goji

Gone are the days when playing video games meant sitting on your couch for hours, affecting your health with excessive playing and very little moving.

First it was the dance mats, next came the Wii and then the Guitar Hero craze took hold of gamers everywhere. Now, the makers of Guitar Hero are introducing Blue Goji, a fitness game.

The game works as a fitness tracker and you control an animated avatar by how much exercise you do in real life. Alongside the game itself are two controllers that fit on the handles of gym equipment and the app provides metrics on your workouts which can be synched with MyFitnessPal.

Available on iOS devices, the game is a great start to those ‘get fit’ new year’s resolutions that we make every single year!
