The garage where Steve Jobs and Steve Wozniak first created the Apple brand has been named as a historic site.

The house, located at 2066 Crist Drive in Los Altos, California, was where the first apple computers were made, and the childhood home of Steve Jobs himself.

It is currently occupied by Marilyn Jobs, Steve Jobs’ stepmother.

The Los Altos Historical Commission decided the garage should be marked as a historical site. The process took two years.

As it is now officially a historic site, it is likely that more tourists than usual will flock to the property to see where Apple began.

Only 10 miles from Steve Jobs’ house, there is another garage that had been named a historic site: the place where Hewlett-Packard began.

But how important are these spots to true fans of the brand? Only time will tell, with potentially queues of Apple fans lining up to see any remnant of Jobs’ legacy.
