Martha’s meltdown over broken iPad

Breaking news: Martha Stewart breaks her iPad.

By Cbr Rolling Blog

We all know the unmistakable sound of an iPhone’s screen smashing when dropped, and an iPad slipping from your fingers is bound to put a damper on your day. So what do you do in such a situation? Well you take it to the Apple store of course, and discuss your options, whether it’s a replacement device, a new screen or you seek insurance advice.

But not if you’re Martha Stewart. Obviously, you take to Twitter.

Poor Martha experienced a smashed iPad screen and it seemed as though her world has shattered just as much. She tweeted:

Martha Stewart

No, Martha, one does not call Apple to sort out a broken device. Especially not their PR department, right?

We’re sure Steve Jobs will be turning in his grave over this horrific ordeal, wishing he could come back just one more day to give her a new iPad.
Many of her followers informed her to take it to the Apple store where should could it fixed or replaced. She didn’t listen.

Naturally, Martha’s tweets have become comedy gold. Never before has a smashed screen caused so much upset, so many diva demands, and so many giggling Twitter users.

We could all learn a lesson from this. If Martha Stewart can’t get Apple’s PR team to solve her broken screen problems, neither can you. So choose plan B and maybe take your broken iPads to the Apple store to get them sorted. You know, the old fashioned way.
