HTC saves man’s life

HTC EVO 3D stops bullet.

By Cbr Rolling Blog

Who needs a bullet proof vest when you can just pop an HTC EVO 3D in your shirt pocket? Okay, so this is one of those ‘don’t try this at home’ moments.

Apparently, a bad man recently tried to steal a heap of cash from a petrol (gas) station in Florida. When he failed to break open the store’s safe, he fled, firing a bullet at the station attendant who took the bullet straight in the chest.

When emergency services arrived at the scene, they were shocked to find the victim was still alive. It was the bullet that had been stopped dead – by HTC.

Interestingly, in 2011 there was a similar incident. Only that time it was an HTC Incredible that saved the day.

These were certainly two lucky escapes, and two stories that could so easily have had unhappy endings. My advice, just stay away from bullets.
