Google vs mobile apps: which one do businesses prefer?

Mobile applications now account for 15 percent of all Internet traffic, with 1.5 billion users worldwide.

Remember when you were willing to wait a few days for a letter to arrive in the post? These days, even waiting a second for an email to come through feels like an age.

Google, mobile app providers and other search engines are on a quest to make their services speedier and more reliable for users as competition to be the best remains fierce.

But guess which company is currently winning the race to speed up their apps? Google!

That is according to an infographic from application performance management firm AppDynamics, which reveals that out of 1,000 businesses users, 75% believe that mobile apps should be as fast as Google and other search engines.
